Private Port Elizabeth City tour

Port Elizabeth has a history bound up with that of the arrival of the 1820 British settlers, and the remnants of that pivotal time still lingers. It was established as a halfway point between the Cape Colony and the Eastern settlements, and is still to this day a busy fishing and port town. It’s known as the ‘Friendly City’ and also the “Windy City. Port Elizabeth, or PE as locals call it shows many signs of being a British settlement originally, with Victorian style housing and wide open streets.

  • You will be collected by your knowledgeable guide from your central Port Elizabeth hotel or cruise ship.

  • A scenic drive along the popular Port Elizabeth beachfront and an informative drive past the harbour.

  • We pass Settler’s Park and St Georges Park, proud home of the Eastern Province Cricket, the Town Hall, Feather Market Hall, Market Square, Fort Frederick, Donkin Reserve and Cape Recife.
