The Cape Duet is the perfect option for those with only 1 day available, but want to squeeze in both the Winelands and Peninsula tours in the same day visitors.
We start with a drive along the beach road past Clifton and Camps Bay to picturesque Hout Bay, and continue on via Chapman’s Peak Drive which offers amazing views. The steep cliffs plunging into the icy Atlantic Ocean, and waves crashing against the rocks is an incredible sight. Then to the tip of Africa at the spectacular Cape Point Nature Reserve, followed by the Simons Town area to view the Boulders Penguin Colony (own account).
Then we head out to wine country and enjoy a cellar tour followed by a cheese and wine tasting at the beautiful Anura Wine Estate. Our tour continues into the historic town of Stellenbosch with its picturesque white gabled Cape Dutch architecture. The pretty streets and lanes are lined with old oak trees. The town boasts a large university with energetic students offering a contrast to the old-world feel of the town. If time permits our guide will choose a second estate for another wine tasting before heading back to your hotel.
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
Simon’s Town & Boulders Penguin Colony (own account)
Chapman’s Peak Drive – if open
Optional lunch stop at the Waterfront (time permitting & own account)
Anura Wine Estate for a cellar tour, cheese and wine tasting
Visit the historical town of Stellenbosch
Please note: The Cape Duet is only recommended if you are on a very tight schedule as it is a combination of two half day tours put together and involves a return to the City at midday for changeover between tours. The itinerary may be reversed at the discretion of our office.
No wine tasting permitted for anyone under 18 years.
We suggest enjoying a more relaxing full day Cape Peninsula tour with a separate Cape Winelands tour if you have the time available… Or we can offer you a private Cape Peninsula Tour with a wine tasting in the Constantia Valley to spend your time with another glass of wine, rather than shuttling to and from Stellenbosch.
This tour is not available on the 6th March 2016 due to the Cape Town Cycle Tour. This tour is not available on the 26th March 2016 due to the Two Oceans Marathon.

I had a knowledgable and funny guide Marcus show me and a group of others the stellenbosch area, two wine estates, the penguins at boulders beach, lunch at kalk bay and amazing views at the cape of good hope and the drive through chapmans peak. All this packed into one day and we even saw some baboons as we were leaving the cape of good hope. The tour company is professional and the guide gives you enough time to explore things and advises you about Cape Town in general. Looking forward to using them next year when I return.
